1. The Pavilion is the property of Tyringham Volunteer Fire Company and will be governed by the House Committee with the support of all members of the Company. The House Committee will make any final interpretation and/or decision regarding the rules of the Pavilion.
The Pavilion must remain in the same condition as it was, prior to use. Any damage or missing property must be replaced or a fair market value must be paid. Anyone who fails to abide by these rules will forfeit their privilege to use the Pavilion in the future and could be subject to further action.
Any large parties in which a band or DJ will be playing, the User will need to contact the Tyringham Selectmen in advance to gain their approval, as the Pavilion and its grounds are insured by the Town of Tyringham. The Selectboard may determine the need for police detail.
Pavilion hours will range from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, unless special permission is given.
Only one event per weekend (Friday - Sunday) is allowed unless special permission is granted by the House Committee.
The Pavilion can be reserved for up to 1 year. To request a specific date, the applicant should email the house committee at tvfchouse@gmail.com The House Committee will then send an application to begin the process. A member of the House Committee will contact you to confirm or deny the availability of your requested date for your event. If your requested date is confirmed the House Committee member, who contacts you, will make arrangements with you to acquire the Pavilion Rental Agreement.
The Pavilion's picnic tables may not be moved or relocated.
A member will be appointed to be the contact person for the event. This member is responsible for moving the rescue truck before and after the event as well as being on call to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the event. The member will complete an inspection upon completion of the event. This member will receive $100 of the $400 donation.
